Cookie Policy
Learn how KWT Digital uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, protect forms, and support learning features.
On this page
This Cookie Policy explains how KWT Digital (operated by KWT EDUCATION) uses cookies and similar technologies on kwtdigital.com and related learning areas on this domain. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We describe only technologies that are currently used in the live implementation — not hypothetical tools.
2. Technologies We Use
Based on the current site implementation, we use:
- Essential session cookies — PHP session cookies when a page starts a server session (for example, contact form security tokens, and signed-in learning or academy areas).
-
Optional convenience cookie on sign-in screens — if you choose “remember email” when signing in
to learning or academy login pages, a cookie named
kwt_remember_emailmay store your email address so the login form can pre-fill it. - Browser localStorage — used by free course experiences (such as SEO Essentials and On-Page SEO) to keep lesson progress and related learning state on the device you are using.
We do not currently load advertising pixels, marketing tag managers, or third-party analytics packages on the public marketing pages described in this policy. See section 5.
We do not publish invented cookie names, vendor lists, or fixed expiry tables beyond what the live code sets. Exact session cookie names and lifetimes follow the server’s PHP session configuration.
3. Essential Technologies
Some technologies are needed for core security and operation of the site:
- Contact form sessions and CSRF tokens — when you open or submit the contact form, a server session stores a security token that must match the form field. Blocking session cookies can prevent the form from validating and sending your message.
- Signed-in learning and academy sessions — where login is available under learning or academy areas, session cookies keep you signed in while you use those features. Blocking them will prevent sign-in from working.
The public marketing website does not require a general site-wide login to browse courses, services, or resources. Sign-in applies only where account-based learning or academy features are offered.
The kwt_remember_email cookie is a convenience for login forms only. It is not required to browse the site
or to submit the contact form. You can leave “remember email” unchecked, or clear the cookie in your browser.
4. Learning Progress and Browser Storage
Free course players on this site may store progress in localStorage on your browser and device.
Examples of keys used in the current learning experiences include
kwt_seo_essentials_v1 and kwt_on_page_seo_v1.
Depending on the course, stored information may include items such as:
- Completed lesson identifiers
- Quiz score summaries
- Exam pass or score indicators where applicable
- Certificate or attempt identifiers when issued in that flow
- A last-updated timestamp
This local progress is specific to the browser and device you used. Clearing site data, using another browser, or switching devices can mean you no longer see the same local progress.
If you are signed in and the course is configured to sync progress with the server, some progress may also be saved to your account. Local storage alone does not guarantee cross-device sync. Where sync is available, it depends on being signed in and the learning APIs succeeding.
5. Analytics and Marketing
At the time of the last update of this policy, the current public site templates do not deploy third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics tags) or advertising cookies (such as Meta Pixel) on the live marketing pages.
If we add analytics or marketing technologies later, we will update this Cookie Policy to describe them and, where required, introduce an appropriate consent or preference control before non-essential scripts run.
We do not claim that third-party technologies will never be used in the future — only that they are not part of the current deployed marketing page setup described here.
6. Third-Party Services
Relevant third-party or external services connected to the current website include:
- Google Fonts — marketing pages load the Manrope typeface from Google’s font delivery service so text displays consistently. That involves requests to Google’s servers for stylesheets and font files. Google’s own terms and privacy practices apply to that delivery service.
- Email delivery (SMTP) — contact and certain learning messages are sent through the configured mail server. That happens on our servers; it does not place a marketing cookie in your browser by itself.
- SEO Tools on kwtspider.com — links from this site may take you to tools hosted on a related domain. That site may use its own cookies and policies.
We do not invent a longer vendor list. If a page embeds or links to another service, that service’s own privacy and cookie notices may also apply once you interact with it.
7. Your Choices
This website does not currently provide a separate cookie preference centre or consent banner, because the live marketing pages do not load optional analytics or advertising cookies that would require one.
You can still control technologies through your browser:
- Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser’s privacy or site-settings controls.
- Clear cookies and site storage (including localStorage) for kwtdigital.com.
- Use private or guest browsing modes if you prefer not to keep local learning progress.
If you block essential session cookies, contact form security checks and signed-in learning or academy features may stop working until cookies are allowed again for this site.
8. How to Clear Browser Data
Use your browser’s privacy, history, or site-data settings to remove cookies and stored site data for kwtdigital.com. The exact labels vary by browser and version, so we do not provide step-by-step instructions that may become outdated.
Clearing site data may:
- Remove locally saved course progress stored in localStorage
- End active sessions and sign you out of learning or academy areas
- Clear a remembered email on login forms
- Require you to accept a new session before submitting the contact form again
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when website functionality, third-party integrations, or legal requirements change. When we publish a revised version, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
