Privacy Policy
Learn how KWT Digital collects, uses, protects, and retains personal information when you use our website, courses, assessments, and related services.
On this page
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled on kwtdigital.com and related learning systems on this domain. Please read it together with our Terms of Use and Cookie Policy.
1. Introduction and Scope
The website and learning platform are operated by KWT EDUCATION (“we”, “us”). KWT Digital is a part of KWT EDUCATION and is the public brand used for SEO and digital marketing learning, assessments, certificates, and related informational and business-service pages on this site.
This policy covers personal information processed when you:
- Browse the public website
- Submit the contact form or email us
- Use free or account-based learning features, quizzes, and exams
- Earn or verify a certificate
- Register or sign in to learning or academy student areas where those features are available
- Enquire about KWT Digital business services
Related products hosted on other domains (for example, SEO Tools on kwtspider.com) may have separate privacy practices in addition to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide, information generated by your use of the site, and limited technical data needed for security and operation.
Contact forms
When you use the contact form, we collect the details you submit, which currently may include your full name, email address, enquiry category, optional website URL, and message content.
Technical and security data
For form protection and abuse prevention we may process your IP address (including for contact rate limiting), session identifiers, CSRF tokens, and related request metadata. The contact form also includes a honeypot field intended to catch automated spam submissions; it is not meant for human visitors.
Learning, quizzes, and exams
Learning features may process lesson progress, quiz attempts and scores, exam attempts and results, and related learning activity needed to operate the course experience. Some free course progress may also be stored locally in your browser (see section 10).
Learning and academy accounts
Where registration and sign-in are available, we may collect your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), optional profile fields you choose to provide (such as country, company, or profession), email verification / OTP data, account status, and linked learning or certificate records.
Browsing the public marketing pages does not require creating an account. Accounts apply only where learning or academy student features are offered.
Certificates
When a certificate is issued, we store records needed for issuance and verification, such as your name, course or programme details, score, certificate identifier, and issue metadata.
Cookies and browser storage
We use session cookies for essential security and signed-in sessions, an optional remember-email cookie on some login forms, and browser localStorage for certain course progress keys. These are described in the Cookie Policy.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries sent through the contact form or to info@kwtdigital.com
- Operate courses, quizzes, exams, and learning dashboards
- Issue certificates and support certificate verification lookups
- Create and manage learning or academy accounts where you register
- Send transactional messages required for the service (for example, email verification OTPs, password reset messages, or certificate-related notices) via the configured SMTP mail delivery
- Protect forms, accounts, and systems against spam, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve website and learning functionality
We do not sell personal information.
4. Legal Bases and Consent
KWT EDUCATION operates from India. We process personal information as needed to provide the website and services you request, to operate learning and certificate features, to protect our systems, and to meet applicable legal obligations.
Where you submit a form, create an account, or otherwise provide information, you do so in order to use the relevant feature. Where Indian law requires consent or another specified ground for a particular processing activity, we will rely on the ground that applies to that activity.
Unresolved legal decision: map each processing activity to the specific grounds and notice requirements under applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and any rules in force) with qualified counsel before treating this section as final legal advice. This page is an operational description, not a substitute for a counsel-reviewed DPDP compliance pack.
6. Payments
This public website does not currently process online payments or collect payment-card details through a checkout form. Paid course enrolments or business services arranged separately are handled through the method we confirm with you (for example, invoice or transfer instructions), not via an on-site payment form.
See also our Refund Policy. If an online checkout is introduced later, this section will be updated to describe the payment processor and related data practices.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including support, learning history, certificate verification, security, and legal obligations. We do not publish fixed deletion calendars unless a specific retention period is defined and implemented in our operations.
In practice, retention often differs by record type:
- Contact enquiries — kept as needed to respond and follow up, then removed or archived according to operational need
- Security and rate-limiting data — kept for shorter periods needed to prevent abuse
- Learning and account records — kept while the account or learning history remains relevant to the service
- Certificate records — may be retained longer so verification lookups can continue to work
Unresolved operational decision: document exact retention periods and deletion workflows for each record type with the operations team and counsel.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process, including measures such as password hashing for accounts, session-based CSRF protection on the contact form, rate limiting, honeypot spam controls, and access controls for administrative systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We do not claim absolute security. Please use strong unique passwords for learning accounts and keep certificate IDs confidential if you do not want them looked up by others.
9. Your Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on applicable law and how you use the site, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or raise another privacy enquiry.
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 15 or through our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
We will respond to reasonable requests in line with applicable law. We do not promise immediate deletion of records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, certificate integrity, accounting, or legal compliance.
You can also clear cookies and local site data in your browser, which may remove local course progress or end an active session. Account settings, where available, may allow you to update certain profile details yourself.
11. Third-Party Links
The website may link to external websites and products, including SEO Tools and other resources. Those third parties operate independently and may have their own privacy and cookie practices. This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party sites once you leave kwtdigital.com.
12. Children and Minors
Our courses and website content are intended for learners and professionals interested in SEO and digital marketing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of offering services directed at them, and we do not operate a dedicated age-verification mechanism on the public marketing pages.
If you believe a minor has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us and we will review the matter.
Unresolved legal decision: confirm the intended minimum age, parental-consent approach (if any), and DPDP / applicable children’s-data wording with counsel.
13. International Processing
We operate from India. Information you submit may be processed on systems used to host and deliver the website, learning platform, and email.
Some supporting services may involve infrastructure or vendors outside India. For example, marketing pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which involves requests to Google’s font delivery service, and transactional email may be sent through the configured SMTP provider. We do not invent specific data-centre locations for those providers.
Unresolved legal decision: document actual hosting and SMTP provider locations / transfer arrangements with counsel if cross-border transfer rules apply to your processing.
14. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, website features, service providers, or legal requirements change. When we publish a revised version, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material updates will be reflected in the published policy on this URL.
